It's been a kinda cool idea i had in mind since some time ago but i'm not really that deep within the lore to know if it's something that could ever happen. I'm talking about something bigger than just a shadowy cult, more like a norm in a country or two, expanding territories by the day whilst "purging the degeneracy that seeps into these frontier lands".

My idea was something like a legion of inquisitors bloodstained from their own penance, pushing their beliefs into the local territories and "clean the blood of the sinners" by forcing their customs of self-flagellation and a life of martyrdom.

I'm new on gm'ing and maybe this is way too edgy but it sounds scary enough for the PC's to keep a sense of tension.
