I have seen a lot of people talk really bad about rangers but i was looking at ranger and even though it might not do too much damage it still seems like a very fun character. I was thinking about doing a horizon walker ranger or a gloomstalker ranger and focus on conjure woodland beings and animals for a new campaign.
What are other ideas for a ranger ideas to make it an interesting character.
we are only using volos guide, xanathars, players handbook, and sword coast books no home brew.
