Character concept! Tiefling pact of the fiend whose a record label owner!

I had this idea in my car of making a tiefling pact of the fiend who scouts and signs up and coming bards to contracts that sell their souls to his demon boss. The gist is basically find a bard, “hire” them as a hireling, and take them on adventures from town to town on tour. This character would be a fast talking sleezeball that’s lawful evil, so does everything within the restraints of the law and all its loopholes.
Any other ideas to make him even better I’m more than open to listening!
