Hey all. I'm a novice DM, been playing and studying D&D since I was 7 years old in the 90s, but only now getting to find a group and put together my first campaign. I know I should probably run some pre-made one-shots or something to get the basics down of gameplay, but I'm more interested in campaign building than almost any other aspect of the game.
That said, I'm open to any suggestions on how to master the procedural aspects of the game before actually running it. I've written fantasy professionally and have a lot of improv experience so I think I'm going to nail it on the storytelling aspects of the game, but I'm pretty terrified of the combat process and my ADHD tendency to completely blank out on details of action economy that might fuck the characters over, or make the fights way too easy, etc.
I'm interested in hearing people's thoughts about some of the content I've produced. Check it out, and let me know.
