Our campaign started fairly straightforward. We are soldiers for the city, tasked with escorting an extremely dangerous and possessed prisoner to a special island where he can be dealt with. I created a rogue/ranger who was in charge of scouts and spies. As a scout, his priority was staying alive no matter the cost, because the information he holds is vital.
After a few sessions we encountered some vicious vampires, which nearly wiped the party. We managed to slay then without any player deaths, however I'm the only mortal left. We now have 4 evil vampires, one who is a sloth (Aqua) and another wrathful vampire warlock (Megumin) a Revenant who was already kinda evil, and me, the last sensible member of the party.
On top of that, I was granted a magical amulet by a celestial which allows me to learn some wizarding spells from others, and I've already learned the cantrip shape water.
TLDR: my character is the only sensible member of his party, filled with a bunch of members more troublesome than they're worth. He's a ranger/rogue who prioritizes himself over others, and has learned simple wizard spells. He's basically Kazuma and I love it!
