Wizard- Arcane Tradition: Arcane Healer
-Expanded Spell List: Your studies of healing magic allow you to replicate the spells of others. The following spells are added to the wizard spell list for you.
1st- (Cure Wounds), (Healing Word) 2nd- (Detect Poison and Disease), (Lesser Restoration) 3rd- (Mass Healing Word), (Revivify) 5th- (Greater Restoration), (Mass Cure Wounds)
(Level 2) -Bonus Cantrip: When you chose this tradition at 2nd level, you gain the (Spare the Dying) cantrip if you don't already know it. It is considered a Wizard cantrip for you.
-Refined Healing: At 2nd level, your studies have taught you how replicate the magical healing abilities of other's. You discovered how to retain limited amounts of healing energy. This accumulated energy is represented by a pool of d6s equal to your Wizard level. As bonus action you may choose a creature within 60 feet and expend one of these dice. Roll the d6 and then add that number your proficiency bonus your intelligence modifier. The target regains hit points equal to the total. You regain all expended dice after a long rest.
(Level 6) -Entwined Spellcasting: At 6th level, you learn to incorporate your healing magic into your other spells. Whenever you cast a spell that targets one or more creatures you may expend one of your d6s from your accumulated pool of healing energy. If you do, roll the d6 and then add that number your proficiency bonus your intelligence modifier. The targeted creatures regain hit points equal to the total, split however you chose.
(Level 10) -Experienced Healer: At 10th level, you become accustomed to dealing with death and disease. You are resistant to necrotic and poison damage.
(Level 14) -Greater Supreme Healing: Starting at 14th level, whenever you would roll one or more dice to restore hit points with a spell or class ability, you instead use the highest number possible.
Notes;
I understand that wizards are not normally healers, as they deal with Arcane rather than Divine magic. I was trying to create a magical healer who's power came from purely "Scholarly" origins, learned purely through hard studies rather than through a divine power (so the Arcane Cleric and Thurgy(?) Wizard would not fit the idea).
The wizard subclass is supposed to be lesser to the Life Cleric spell-wise, but being slightly more effective in other ways (as per the 2nd, 6th, and 14th level abilities). I wanted to see if I could put the magical healing through a more "logical?/refined?" mindset, so that is why the 2nd/6th level abilities have your proficiency bonus added to them. I attempted to off set the OPness by making it only one d6 per use of each class ability (as compared to the Druid's and Warlock's similar respective subclasses).
Also I did take from the ideas and thoughts given to me as responses in previous posts, so I wanted to again thank you guys for helping me out, I hope to get this "right" one way or another for anyone to use.
*Edit
Thanks again for all of your inputs on the idea. You guys have been a great help. Maybe this wizard might be useable someday.
