So Sorcerers are not only my favorite class to play in D&D, but also my favorite to write backstory for. With situations regarding how or when they would have learned of their innate powers or whom it effected and where they would go from there. One thing that I would like to include are goals or milestones for them to work longterm for similar to Archdruid or Archmage.
Regarding Wizards, often they study and thoroughly master their spells until, hopefully, earning the status of an Archmage at a College or other institution. With Sorcerers, whom have natural abilities rather than the product of studying and hard work, what would be some cool ideas for titles, ranks or positions they could obtain regarding their magical abilities?
Example, the Sorcerer I am playing now is a Drow, so through devotion and expressions of power I could see them one day being an Archpriest of Lulth either in the campaign or in their endeavors following their adventures.
