Is it poor etiquette to have your character sheet/information on a laptop or tablet?

A couple of my friends and I use laptops when we play; we don't mind it as a group. Tools like Orcpub are great character managers, and I can also use stuff like Wikis for reference material.
I'd like to know the general consensus--for if I ever play with people outside of my current friends. What do people think?
