Hey guys! Just hoping you could help me resolve an issue we had at the table tonight. One of my players is a druid and quite fond of his giant toad form. Well he got into a bit of a scuffle with a wereboar in tonights game and we had a disagreement on the poison/grapple effect of the toad's bite attack. He thought that the attack should act as written but minus the piercing damage, and I thought that, since the initial bite attack did nothing, that thw poison and grapple should also not apply. We settled on allowing the poison damage for now (they really needed the dps) but doing away with the grapple. I can definitely see this coming up again in the future, so if anyone has any insight into how these mechanics interact I would greatly appreciate the advice! :)
