When we started playing it started as DM and 3 PCs, the party has slowly morphed and grown over the last several months to now include DM and 6 PCs. The problem we have is due to the size of the party it take them a excessive amount of time to accomplish even the smallest tasks. On top of that I find that with 6 PCs the 5 that aren't making an action at that moment aren't paying attention. Which leads to me having to explain and area 3-4 times. What I'm asking is how have you decreased your group size without being a complete asshole about it or just having them draw straws or fight to the death in game and the first 2 dead are out? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
