So I want to roll a Tabaxi monk that changes his obsession every month or so. He is a complete romantic only seeing the best storybook potential in everything.
For example he loves boats. He loves the idea of being a robin hood-esque pirate, he hates water which makes boats that much more amazing because you can be on the water but not. He absolutely refuses to see the bad side of boats (he gets motion sick very easily and has never even been on a boat, just seen them)
So anyway I just need a lot of things like that, things which seem like non sequitur at first but actually have reason behind them even if that logic is broken. And of course if something rad happens in the campaign I'll use that. No sense in shoehorning in some random joke if there's a better one in the moment.
