Where can I find miniatures?

I've been searching for a good week or so and I'm just kind of flummoxed. All I want is one of those small pewter figures, but I keep finding minis for other games that don't fit the d&d aesthetic. Where do you all go for your miniatures? I've checked the local gaming stores and none of them sell them (or at least none sell anything even close to resembling a half-elf sorcerer). Thanks!
