I posted a topic last week, so sorry for posting another one but I need some questions answered.
Everyone at my group is new to D&D, even me. I'm the only one who has a player manual, monster manual, and a DM guidebook. Some of my players come from poor household and can't really afford to buy a Player's Manual. Do they all need one?
My friend is being really stubborn and wanted to be a bear at first (because of that fucking 4chan post) and now wants a bear minion. Is it possible for me to give him one?
Should I play music during sessions? I've gotten a good list of nice ambient music, but would it distract from the game?
EDIT: Also I'm not 100% sure how the players should fill out the damage and attack workshop on their sheet. Do they need that?
Also forgot to mention. We're running on 4e.
