So I have played a LITTLE bit of DnD, all experience with Pathfinder in college, though never had any practice DM'ing so I'm new to that aspect and don't know how the mechanics work exactly.
I haven't had to help make a character as I had my friends help to make my two characters I messed around with, so when they need to make characters I am going to need a good guide to help them.
Was planning on using Pathfinder as it's the version I at least have SOME experience with, although if there's an easier version for me to pick up that would be preferable.
I am basically looking for any REALLY dumbed down explanations of how to get a campaign started, creating characters, the basic mechanics from a DM perspective as well as a player perspective, and any general tips I may have forgotten about.
I have no idea what books/guides to pick up if any are very helpful because even my experience level is around 2 months as a player while my friends held my hand that time.
Help? :)
(Also, I know there are guides on the sidebar that help with some of this but they tend to get confusing with all of the information that is there.)
