DND 2024 rule question: Bonus action attack from dual wielding + prepared attack to double sneak attack as a rogue?

Post Body

Hi, I'm wondering if anyone know this: I'm under the impression that they changed the way attacks made with bonus action worked - for exemple, the monks can do a bonus attack without having to take the Attack action beforehand.

Previously, you would have needed to take the attack action to do that.

I'm wondering if it works the same with offhand attacks from wielding dual weapon.

In 2014, you cannot prepared action an attack (to do an out of your turn sneak attack) AND use a bonus action to attack and get a bonus action on your turn, but I'm curious if that has changed, or if that works the same.

If that's the case, that mean you can mostly guarantee two sneak attack per round (one on your turn, one out of your turn), assuming you hit both times. That would be super helpful to help the rogue that can really struggle with damages.
