Hey guys, I'm in the middle of a one on one campaign with one of my players, and added an option for him to help choose what kind of store front an empty store and warehouse could become. The setting is in a military ran town where his unit owns this property, but must make a decision on what can make them money. The purpose of this is to engage my player into the world to think about what could he profitable in the area. Because the military is strict on their soldiers consuming alcohol, they aren't able to open a brewery or anything that serves alcohol. The storefront will employ citizens, so none of the units soldiers will have to stop their training and otherwise to run it So far I have these ideas; sparring pit (with legal betting), medical supply store, restaurant, trading post, wood working shop, blacksmith
I want there to be more of an option for this engagement but I'm not sure what else. Also should be noted that magic isn't the most prevalent in this campaign, as the use of it has died down with the priority of technological and societal advancement.
