Hey yall! I’m a new ish DM playing with my friends and I’m hitting a creative Rut and would love a lil help we have a big session coming up that’s a ball very bridgerton style where the goal the players are trying to meet is to become the bloom of the season!!! to get access to a magic vault that holds the fairy queens magic
My current idea is that for one of them to become the bloom of the season they have to pass a series of performance , charisma and maybe persuasion checks to see who the queens likes best with some npcs mixed in to make it harder does this sound like a good idea? Any ideas you’d add in to make it fun ?
I really want to integrate rumors into this ball but I’m not sure how mechanically I could use them ?
2 of my pcs are up for blooms but the other 2 have choose To chaperone. how do I make this fun and engaging for them ?
If they do become the bloom of the season they get access to the queens vault but they have to steal something in the vault how do I make it really high stakes once they get in ? And if they get caught what’s a fun battle idea ?
If they don’t get bloom of the season and have to fight the fairy queen id love some cool combat ideas for a lvl 5 party of 4
Thank you so much if you contribute an idea typing this out alone have help with a lil creative funk but I love to hear your ideas!!
