So I’m in a campaign and I have this weapon that is cursed with a reaper bound to it and each time it is activated reaper tried to take control of me, my save modifier is high enough that it’s not got the best chance but the weapon stats are nerfed with the reaper in it, dm said it’ll get better if the reaper was not cursed in the weapon but dm won’t give any hints as to how just that I have to figure it out my own so I’m wondering if anyone has had similar issue and knows how to remove a reaper from an object

Just to clarify not looking to metagame, just have no idea what to do, just looking for an idea like if I was suggested a cleansing ritual I’d go and ask in game books regarding cleansing rituals or high lvl box that can perform cleansing ritual
