Here's a cool campaign idea and some player character ideas to throw out there!

Campaign: The capital city of the Kingdom of Seros (known as the City in the Volcano because it is literally based inside an active volcano and is protected by God-level magic that keeps the citizens and their homes from being destroyed) has recently discovered that an ancient civilization of highly advanced and extremely intelligent beings sealed themselves away inside of a massive pillar at the heartbof the volcano. They attempt to release them but unbeknownst to the villagers they also release an ancient mindflayer parasite that starts to spread.

Characters:

-A fae-blessed bard/alchemist hybrid (named "Noope Wolfe" iykyk) who uses and sells a "magic fae herb" to gain "magic powers"

-A barbarian/druid hybrid (named "Lenny") who isn't all that intelligent or charismatic, but is extremely lucky and strong. Also has a pet horned rabbit he loves to pet.

-a dwarf Paladin/Sorcerer hybrid (named "Wilson") who spent fifteen years in a place devoid of other people until his "God" (really his patron who decided it's better to be served like a god because of boredom) spoke through a ball and helped him escape.

-a dragonborn artificer/rogue (named "Stewee") who is always taking things from the party and making them into extremely dangerous weapons with even more dangerous AI programming in them. Whether that helps or hinders the party they don't care.

-a tiefling/Halfling Wizard/Cleric (named "Stitch") who was cursed during an experiment with magic so that his limbs fall off at random times and end up having to be Stitched back on. Refuses to talk about the time his ex and him got drunk at the inn.
