We're playing in Curse of Strahd. So far, they had a fight on the Tser falls bridge that I made up, with archers on the far side (so she was limited to using darts; her teammates made the ground full of thorns so passing was difficult). Today they fought the 3 hags. The monk did some damage in combat, but they had resistance. She felt flat compared to the artificer, sorcerer, and druid/cleric. (She's a shadow monk btw).
What makes monks fun/strong for you? I'm open to my players changing feats, classes etc to make the game fun for them too (since 3/4 of them are totally new to the game).
