I was playing a 5e D&D campaign with 2 friends (not real names) James a varent human fighter and Alex a varent human wizard and my DM (not there real name) and myself a red dragonborn paladin&cleric subclass , we are all level 4. The journey brought us into a mountain fort deep inside the fort about the 25th floor we found a demon in golden armor with the silver symbol of greed in infernal on his breastplate. Dm in a sly voice, ravic, I am ravic demonic paladin of the king of greed. James the fighter held his battle axe ready and asked him what we seek in life, James asked for a potion That would make him immortal the wizard rolled to see if they were being decived rolled a 7 3=10, abby your unsure if there say something true or false, Alex asked for a item that would make her smarter each day, I decided to be risky and asked for a wish, ravic responded certainly and gave me a wand that could grant my wish but only once then it would shatter into 1000 pices, I pointed it at the demon causing them to jump back and say I wish you would go on a journey of redemption.

Nothing happened the wand didn't break, no glow, no sparks, no words, the demons face slumped down facing the floor, then the demon looked up and looked at me with a strange confused look in their eyes and said, brother why are you pointing that stick at me, I said what and he replied brother are you okay you look like you seen the devil, come on let's find a place to rest so we can continue threw the fort, I asked the DM if I could roll insight, abby sure you have advantage I rolled a 11 4 and 14 4 the DM replied you know for a fact this demon believes with every fiber of his soul your his brother, and explained that in second in the few seconds he was slumped down he went through countless journeys of redemption all of the journeys are base on my life now fully believing I'm his brother, the DM then said and that's where we're ending for tonight

I asked before we left the card shop we play at a few questions like his stats and abilities, they replied same as your, were both paladin's of vengeance level 3 cleric of the forge 1, only deference is the fact he uses a greatsword and i use a longsword and a shield, even his armor is now similar to mine his is just a golden and silver version of my blue and silver armor. I asked about the staff of wishes and the DM smiled and left
