My players robbed a rich woman and found a necklace of fireballs. I rolled a 6 so the thing has nine Fireball spells. Six sessions later, they found a Carpet of Flying via a random magic table roll. Across those sessions in between, they never used the necklace. Two more sessions later: a horde of twig blights. The bard says, “Guys, we have a literal carpet bomb.” So began the village-sized bonfire.
