Hey everybody,
I am trying to create riddles for my campaign and I want to avoid the old school cliche ones. I have no issue giving hints every 3 minutes if the players are struggling too much.
Any suggestions?
Do the riddles have to rhyme, do they have to use part of the answer in the words of the riddle, do they have to be punishing if they get them wrong or is it just a time blockade?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Edit: The goal with the riddles usually when I make them is tied to either magical items hidden, or to the BBEG
