I have this idea for a character who is a old human wizard. Now I’ve seen a lot of really old wizards who act like age is not an issue. But for this person they actually act old, limited movement, memory loss, etc.
But the fun thing about this character will be that when ever they cast a spell I roll a d20. If I get a nat1, the wizard forgets the rest of the incantation and says random magic words to finish the spell. I roll a second d20 and use the wild magic surge table to generate the random effect it causes.
Sorry if I didn’t make much sense I’m not very good at turning my thoughts into words.
