Rested, recovered, and finally relaxed. It’s been a surreal feeling for the last few days after opening for @mrgoldie at Flash, and I loved every bit of it.

About 26 years ago, I started DJing and just fell in love w/ drum n’ bass. Over the years, I’ve always opened at parties, long before any headliners for the night. Last Thursday night’s (July 20, 2023) opening session, however, was truly the most special time I’ve ever been able to enjoy, yet.

With over 2 hours of time to help set up the evening and tell an opening story to the crowd, I had an amazing time going through so many classics, and some new vibes from my favorite artists. Being able to build up the vibe just before Goldie began was easily one of the best moments of 2023 for me!

Here's the full tracklist of tunes that I dropped during my opening set...And yes, it went heavy on Break tunes but hey, who is going to argue about too much Break during a show? No recording this time, but I might just re-make this as an inspired set in the future! Stay tuned!

In @cadencednb's 3rd year, I was fortunate to do the graphic design for the third anniversary party w/ Goldie, and to come full circle and now perform BEFORE him at their 10 year anniversary party was truly an amazing feeling.
