What is the reality of dating as a divorced dad?
Post Body

Hey fellow Dads, 41 and thinking of ending my dead marriage for many reasons but those are not the focus of this post.

I've been chatting with people on reddit and I keep hearing that I need to leave, that there are tons of women out there who would be more compatible and that all my problems will be solved and I will be happy. Sounds too good to be true, if you ask me. I don't doubt there are some matches out there in the wild but I live in a medium size town and can't move due to work and family obligations, so that really limits the pool of candidates to my local scene. I want to believe there's hope for me, but my inner skeptic says otherwise.

Tell me about your experiences, good or bad about dating as a divorced dad in your 30/40/50s? Do you use apps? What advice would you give me?
