Dad's if neurodivergent kids, need advice.
Post Body

I have made the decision to divorce. I am working through some details to make sure I'm as prepared as I can be. I'm meeting with an attorney next week before letting my wife know. I am worried about how she will react - I know it will be bad. But I want to keep the focus on supporting our neurodivergent child. Any advice on how to have the conversation woth our son is appreciated.

He really thrives on routines and predictability. I'll be letting his care team know so they can help support him. My wife home schools him and has been one of the best things ever. I did have a post previously about her and the situation and got lots of good advice - thanks.

I just am curious if any dads here have experience with neurodiv. kids and what the experience was like. I know this is going to be really hard, just wanting to be as prepared as I can. Thanks for any insights!
