When will divorce law change in the 9 states?
Post Body

So, as you may know Jeff Bezos is getting divorced. I'm wondering, do you guys think his wife deserves more money that it takes to live normally? This isn't just this case, it affects the breadwinner (any gender). You find it more and more often were one spouse doesn't do much and receives a ridiculous amount in a divorce. I'd imagine in millionaire scenarios the work of taking care of family is very very minimal. Do you think this 50/50 thing is outdated? I can understand it was applicable back when society was dominated by men and women had no options, but now?

I personally haven't been through divorce, but I couldn't imagine trying to screw my significant other if I know I hadn't worked to make significant amounts of money. I also understand the home-care, but in contemporary society, most cannot complete home-care without someone working to provide that opportunity.
