Do I tell the kids even though my wife is forbidding it?

My wife has been having a lengthy affair, going on 4 years. I have filed for divorce and it’s taking longer than expected. The kids know we are getting divorced, but not the reasons why. I am getting blamed for much of the turmoil now because i filed. And because we won’t tell them the reasons why, the kids assuming i am at fault. Do i continue to suck it up? Or do i lay cards on the table for all to see?

This is the right answer. Don't listen to the vindictive peeps on this thread. Every parent deserves a relationship with their children and vise versa. When the time is right and they are old enough they will be told. But matter who was at fault leave the kids out of it and make sure they get love from both parents. Your doing them harm otherwise .
