My boss just told me I'm getting a raise, well really a new offer sheet for a different position but staying under her. I'm at the point where I know I'm getting divorced, my wife and I are just getting through the legal of it all now. It's not messy and not vile towards each other but she doesn't talk to me anymore, and I doubt I'm going to get to see her daughter that I helped raise from 6 months. Not the point. The point being, I should be over the moon celebrating, and I probably will at some point. But when my boss told me, all I wanted to do was run to her and tell her the good news. But she probably wouldn't even care. And that shit is ruining me.
