My wife of 20 years and 2 kids is engaged in an affair and not planning on stopping it. This was revealed to me 5 months ago. We are still cohabitating abs coparenting for a few reasons but the more I stay and try to play house the more it’s destroying my emotional and mental health.

I am still cohabitating with my wife for the foreseeable future and with my kids but I need some help and may need to pull myself out of the home situation even if for a small period of time to get my bearings straight. From a legal standpoint I don’t want to leave my family and especially my kids or leave my house but how does it work in a situation like this if I were to leave for say 15 days, 30 days etc. is it seen as abandoning my home and children and it can impact me in divorce?
