Trying to avoid jumping straight into financially struggling. I've been looking at 2 bedrooms but was wondering if a 1 bedroom would work to start. Get myself used to living alone (first time in my life) then when the lease is up I can upgrade if needed.

2 kids. They are 7 and 11. I'm looking to live close to them. Their main home will be with mom at our house. So I was thinking I get situated. They are still young enough sleepovers are fun. We almost always co sleep when I get days off. So they wouldn't be full time living with me. After school and overnights when I don't work.
