How is this fair?
Post Body

My wife and I have been separated for about 2 years. She is living in the house I paid the mortgage on when she wanted to stay at home with the kids (7 and 3).

The current schedule we have, has the girls at her place about 70% of the time. We are in the middle of talking about child support and alimony. She wants me to pay for half of the girls stuff, give her the house as well as half of my other assets, to make her "whole" on her end.

It's a significant amount of money regardless. Which I inherited, invested and grew.

So how is it fair that she gets the kids 70% of the time, I give her half of everything which puts her way above what she was going into the marriage and yet I'm somehow the bad guy.

Stuff I've paid for over the years. - completely paid off her student loans a year out of school. - she didn't want to work and then she did and I was supportive with whatever she needed. - paid off cars that she wanted - clothes - she basically didn't have to pay for anything for 13 years 8 of which were terrible.

Sorry to rant. I'm fucking irritated.
