It’s only the first step, and I should have done it a long time ago, but I’m doing it now. I’m in an international marriage and didn’t want to take my kids away from their father. He’s shown that he can’t be trusted alone with them. A little over a month ago, he hurt our son while I was right there trying to help. If I wasn’t there, I don’t know what would have happened. Just last week, he told me he can’t take care of our son because he pisses him off too much. If he can’t handle our kids, then I see no reason to stay. Yes, I’ll have to move back in with my parents, but they’re more help than he ever is, and I can get a job with their support.
