Post Body
Hi all. Do you have an easy to follow step-by-step plan for DIY divorce in CA? No children or properties. I looked at https://selfhelp.courts.ca.gov/divorce-california, however not everything was clear. Specifically:
- I didn’t understand some terms in FL-100 and FL-110
- How many copies of each?
- Where exactly should I send these forms? How do I get them back?
- How to serve? If using an officer, where do I find this officer? If using mail, how exactly? What papers do I need to send?
- When to give a temporary spousal support?
- What exactly should the spouse write in the response?
If you know of a good preparer, any specific recommendation?
Any blog or any youtube video covering the detailed explanation? I went to attorney, but they are too vague. And I’m not ready yet to give 2x 7500 retainer fee.
