How do you deal with the one that asked you for a divorce now dating? I am struggling everyone. My wife asked me for a divorce a month back now. She admitted to talking to someone else for about a month before she asked. It was an old flame from before me and her met almost ten years back. This was not the full cause of our divorce, i became complacent and was not emotionally there for her, of course it took a divorce for me to finally realize that. They are progressing quickly and it absolutely crushes me as i am still in love with her. How to people cope? I have been going to the gym pretty much daily and still going to work. I see a therapist every week and am in a relationship group with men once a week but i still wake up in a panic every night around 3am knowing that someone else is pleasing her. I just want another chance but i know its not going to happen. I still see her once or twice a week because of the house we are going to try and sell and our three dogs. We actually normally have a pretty good time together which in the moment feels great but doesn’t last.

I know soon i will see social media posts of her and her guy and he is very wealthy so i would not doubt that when it comes to her getting a new living situation that he will be involved.

I am trying to work on me but i love this woman so much i cant stop thinking of her. Thanks for listening… the stress and sadness are overwhelming.
