Feeling of Melancholy?

Post Body

So a few months back I [31M] reached out into this community for help/support during a really tough period. I wasn't happy at all in my marriage and needed a serious change. Couples therapy didn't work out and I am still going through therapy myself but just yesterday I got the signed divorce papers in from the court...

So it's official now. But although I was the one who asked for the divorce and wanted to pursue my life, and match my needs - I feel melancholic. I still want the best for ex-wife and for her to find someone who will appreciate her better... but I feel distraught somehow.

Has anyone else felt this way after their divorce? How did you cope with it?
