It took 15 long months for my divorce from beginning to end. I (30m) got custody of all 4 of my daughters. The oldest two aren’t biologically mine. My now ex wife (30f) gave in before court started today, and immediately agreed to everything I asked for. Then she back me super hard for me to keep custody of the two oldest instead of their biological dad. Idk if she told it for selfish reasons to keep them reasonably close for her visitations or if she was actually trying to do the right thing, but either way, hearing her stand up for me almost made me cry in the middle of court. I’m so relieved that this is over. And for now, I don’t have to keep constantly worrying about the future.
