We live in Oklahoma. See the attorney on Wednesday. We are getting an amicable divorce (or that’s the plan), she has a son but I don’t have legal rights to him so hopefully the waiting period is only 10 days.
For the last 10 years she has worked maybe 5 years combined. I make well over 6 figures and own rental properties. So far the idea is that I keep everything that is mine she wants:
The car paid for 1yr. ($1150/mo with insurance) Phone for 6mo And to live with me for 90 days to get on her feet.
We are divorcing because she cannot be faithful/monogamous and it has been a plague for all 10 years. When we decided to divorce she was texting a new guy with 60 mins. She has made no moves to get a job and has asked me to give her gas to go meet new guys/ get her nails done.
I have literally paid for EVERYTHING for the last 10 years and I want to stop immediately. I also want her out before 90 days (prefer less than 30).
My current plan is to eliminate giving her money at all and make it uncomfortable to live here.
Please poke holes or give me advice from your experiences.
