You degrade them, belittle them, criticize them constantly, yell at them, curse them out, hang up on them, slam doors in their face, lie to them, tell lies to others about you to turn them against you...the list goes on.

And yet you expect your partner to keep loving you, to keep sleeping with you, to stay with you forever.

And you are shocked when they finally have had enough, and you call them selfish and evil for leaving.

Make it make sense???

In what other context (friends, coworkers, etc) would you treat someone like this and expect them to want to be around you constantly forever.

(Other people also tell me I'm selfish for leaving and for not suffering through this behavior because I'm giving up a big beautiful house to be lower middle class and it'll be rough on the kids, but how can I stay in this beautiful prison for the rest of my life, how???)
