He has informed me that he's refusing to consider mediation, arbitration, or anything of the sort. He is going to ignore any divorce attempts and basically drag it out as long as possible. He's locked me out of all joint bank accounts, so I only have access to my paycheck (I just started my job a month ago after being a SAHM for years). He basically intends to bankrupt me by dragging it out "for decades if possible". In my state I can't even leave our "marital home" until we sign a separation agreement and he won't agree to anything unless I agree to 0%.

Anyone else experience this? Is it possible for an unruly ex to drag out a divorce for years out of spite? How long can they legally ignore/postpone the divorce process?
