Some questions on running legendary

Post Body

Ok so I’ve been dedicated to division since the beginning. Playing on Xbox 1. I’ve really been into making the best build possible lately since I’ve upped my world to heroic and running more legendary missions because they are a blast.

Obviously I know running an all red build your going to get shredded faster. But my one question is this.

Is there any way possible to make a build that is good survival to not get melted super quick with putting out good dps for legendary?

I’ve tried a few things and one I came across was using improvised gear for kneepads, holster and gloves which I crafted and rolled a few things for better stats and used protection from elites mods on all 6 pieces giving me around 70% protection. I’m currently at 54% PFE due to not enough mods. Plus I’m not sure what all attributes I should be rolling. But my second question is this.

Is this a suitable build? If so what do you feel is acceptable for attributes? More red? More blue?

Currently I’m at about 135.4K weapon damage with an smg. My attributes are 10 devotion to red and 2 in blue. The blue is armor regen and hazard protection. My mask is giving me 15% crit hit dmg my chest is perfectly unbreakable and my backpack I believe is bloodsucker. Sorry for the long post I’ll be happy to give more info if needed but I know there is fellow agents out there that probably know what I’m looking for. Thanks guys.
