I was just discharged, I went to the hospital with no fever just pain in my lower left abdomen and left side/back they kept me for three days after discovering a small perforation and abscess this is the second time in one month. the doctor has put me on IV antibiotics for two weeks because the pills did not work the first time it is very possible that I may need surgery. I actually want surgery after the inflammation has gone down And after I get a colonoscopy. Has anybody else been on IV anabiotic’s from home? Did it work for you? Is surgery worth it after the inflammation has gone down? Have you been able to eat normally after surgery? I am very interested to see what other people experienced post operation.
