Newly Diagnosed - pressure

I have had a weird pressure, almost like there is a pocket in my lower left intestine that is nervous. It turned to pain after periods of coming and going and I went to the ER. They told me I had Diveticulosis. They gave me antibiotics and sent me on my way. The sharp pain went away after a day and I felt great for 10 days, but now Iām feeling the pressure again. Is this normal? Will that feeling ever go away?
