Diet Help pls help

Hello
Got surgery done to remove part of my colon that had diverticula. It was successful. Currently on a liquid diet. In a week my doctor wants me to try eating low fiber.
He did mention he wants me to eat fish and chicken, but I am a strict vegetarian for 9 years. What things do you recommend for me? I need help. Dont think the doctor recommended me an alternative. Again open to all other options not meat. Pls help.
