Hello,
Going to make this as brief as I can.
Diagnosed with Diverticulitis 7 years ago. I am 28. Pain stayed for two months then and came back last year June 13th 2023. Since that date it's been non stop pain ever since. Everyday just harsh sharp lower left pains.
June went to the ER that's were they told me i was flarring up. Went again in July & 3rd time in August with a fever. Eventually doctors told me surgery could be an option. I flew to Guatemala because the wait time was a year.
Got a colonscopy done and no heavy signs needed for surgery, but was told I had kidneg stones. This was August by the way.
I came back to the US with medicine for two months. Kidney stones cleared, but October 28th I flared up really bad. Have been in pain everyday since.
So, again the healthcare in California taking forever with appointments. I went to TJ December 27th 2023 and they told me surgery is not needed.
To bring back, August 2023 when I saw a GI here in the US they told me surgery could be recommended.
I was given antibiotics and medicine for 20 daysto calm down the flare, but nothing seems to be working.
I've been on and off of social life and havent worked since Novemeber. The past 6/7 months have been torcher and pain.
I really want surgery if that helps. Any recommendations?
