Hello,
Diagnosed with Diverticulitis 6 years ago. Since then, random little small flare ups here and then, but up until June 13th of 2023 that same pain I once had that sent me to the ER came back.
Since the return of this pain I lost 22 lbs and everyday has been hell. Only sympton? Sharp pain lower left side.
Im only eating, potato soup, crackers, white bread, smoothies (with ginger, pineapple, cucumber). It's been the same food for a month.
This feels dangerous. Since I feel dizzy all the time.
I changed my doctor because my current one seemed to be ignoring I need a GI doctor. I switched years ago but this newest doctor isnt it.
What are your thoughts?
Some say surgery. Others say live it out.
Part of me wants surgery but some people say it comes back.
I just want to eat something. Not necessarily greasy take out food. Just a meal again of some sort. I've been so hungry
PS
Have been taking CBD gummies no help. Tylenol somewhat helps.
