I think the ending was the best we could've got with what we had left , It was a bittersweet ending for Riya, but honestly I think it would've been a much better ending in S2 as opposed to All Stars for the main reason being Riya didn't know half of these people anyway. and the half she did know it wasn't like they got close or anything. The only real friend she had was Connor and it's not like he did anything for her this season besides actively try to ruin her game. Even the friends she made along the way where absolutely terrible.

Alec- Was ok until he got drunk and immediately tried to get with her, literally forcing himself on her. then goes an adopt a random kid , despite actually hating his biological kid for acting like a kid.

Grett- turned her back on Riya the moment she had the numbers to play the middle with a BS excuse of her never taking up for her, despite multiple scenes of Riya doing just that and even pulling Grett to the side and giving her basically the same pep talk Gabby gave.

Connor- Did everything in his power to ruin her game , so she could come crawling back to him (his actual words) after that didn't work just found another chick half his age to marry.

Like yeah Riya is the worst of the worst, no one is debating that; but what did she really lose? friendships with THESE PEOPLE? like there's not a single character in all of All Stars that's worth 1 million, let alone 3.
