Different shower water had amazing effect on my hair - Any thoughts?
Post Body

39M here from NY. Recently I took a trip to Portugal. I was amazed at something that happened after I got out of the shower for the few days I was there. I also feel like I've experienced this same phenomenon in other different cities I've traveled to but this time it really hit me. While blow drying my hair after my showers I noticed that my hair seemed much more manageable, easer to dry, and just had such a nice smoothness to it when all was said and done.

Does anyone know the reasoning behind why this may have happened? I understand there is something called "hard water" and "Soft water", and I'd assume my home shower probably has pretty "hard" water which always makes things much tougher when drying my hair. Simply put, my hair coming out of my own shower at home always just seems more weighed down and takes forever to dry. I've seen "Revitalizing Shower Filters" on amazon. Not sure if that would be a big help for at home. But still, I'm very curious about what happened in Portugal. Any thoughts?
