I’m almost 2 months in taking Lamotrigine to help with my dissociation. I thought I would post here as I have had really good success. My psychiatrist said it has been useful in some cases and Im seeming almost 50% of my day back.
I’ve also been diagnosed with DID and it had not had much affect on that, although the manager side of me is fronting much more than usual as I’m faced with so much more time on my hands processing emotion.
I have been in somewhat safe spaces and I’m nervous at how I will handle big triggers. I’ve had a few small ones that I’ve worked through but nothing big.
Anyway, the Reddit community has been kind to me through this period of self discovery so I thought I would share my small success in case it helps someone else.
